Training & Consultancy

Nobody else teaches this. Your residents need you to know it.

The screening tool shows you who may have lived a lifetime with unrecognised ADHD. This is where you learn what to do about it: practical, evidence-informed training that changes how your team sees behaviour, plans care and shapes the environment.

Three ways to work together

Launch pricing. Multi-session and multi-home rates available on request. All training is delivered live by Kerry Billson and is designed to sit above your mandatory Oliver McGowan training, addressing ADHD in older adults directly, which the standard curriculum does not cover.

Open webinars

Book a place, not a whole session

Cannot fill a private session? Book individual places on our scheduled open webinars. Two hours, live and interactive, with people from care homes across the country. Ideal for smaller homes, single managers, and anyone who wants to see the training before booking it for a whole team.

What happens when you book

  1. Choose your date at the checkout. The next few sessions are listed there, so pick the one that suits your rota.
  2. You will hear from Kerry personally, usually the same day. You get the joining link and a calendar invitation, so it is in your diary rather than in your inbox.
  3. A reminder the day before, with the link again, because everybody loses the first email.
  4. The slide pack by email afterwards, along with your certificate of attendance for your training records.

If the date you want is full, if you need to move to a different session, or if your home would rather be invoiced than pay by card, get in touch and it will be sorted out. Sessions run with a minimum of four people. On the rare occasion a date does not reach four, you will be offered the next one or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

Membership

Train every member of staff, every month, for one flat fee

Care staff turnover means induction never really stops. Membership gives your whole team unlimited access to the online course, so every new starter is trained from day one, without another invoice.

For context, care sector e-learning is typically charged per person per year. A home of 40 staff can easily spend well over £1,000 a year on a single mandatory topic. Membership will cover your whole team for £1,008 a year, on a subject nobody else teaches, it includes the Personhood Profile builder that is £588 a year on its own, and it does not cost more when you recruit. The online course is in accreditation now, and membership opens the day it is granted. In the meantime the Personhood Profile is available on its own at £49 a month. Groups of homes are priced individually, so please ask.

For induction programmes

The online course: ADHD Awareness in Dementia Care

Evidence-based online training for care staff. Approximately one hour, six modules, scenario-based knowledge checks, a final assessment with an 80 per cent pass mark, and an ADHDementia Certificate of Completion. Built on published research with the references provided in full. Each learner who passes saves a record file for their manager, which builds the home's training matrix, ready to print for inspection. The course is built and is currently going through accreditation. It opens to members the day accreditation is granted, and everyone on the list below will hear first.

Why this training is different

The gap between compliant and exceptional

Your mandatory Oliver McGowan training covers autism and learning disability, because that is what the Health and Care Act 2022 names. It does not teach your team what rejection sensitive dysphoria looks like in an eighty-year-old woman, why a resident with time blindness is paralysed all day by a 3pm appointment, or how the erosion of lifelong masking in early dementia can be mistaken for rapid decline.

ADHDementia training does. It is built on a specialist screening framework for older adults, informed by doctoral research, and grounded in the reality of care home life: rotas, dining rooms, medication rounds and handover notes. Your team leaves seeing residents differently, and knowing exactly what to change on their next shift.
