A free 45 minute session for registered managers, deputies and dementia leads. Think of a resident whose distress, refusals or routines do not quite make sense through the usual dementia lens. This briefing explores whether lifelong ADHD or autistic traits could help explain what is happening, and what staff can try next.
Registered managers, deputy managers, dementia leads, quality and training leads, and anyone in a group who decides what training gets bought. One place per person, and please do bring a colleague by booking them a place of their own.
Kerry Billson. Eight years working in care homes, a master's dissertation at the University of Hull on what happens when a home does not fit the person, and ADHD herself. Which is the reason she noticed any of this in the first place.
